Beyond Survival
Editorials and OpinionsWhat's the point of having a Web site and publishing articles if you can't go off-topic occasionally?
Well, folks, this is where Captain Dave indulges in his ego and publishes his opinions and editorials. They may not be on survival topics, and they may not all be politically correct. An occasional four-letter word may creep into the content, so be forewarned. If you think you might be offended, just go back to the home page and try one of the many other sections.
If you disagree, write a reasoned response and send it to me. Chances are, I'll publish it here as well.

What Really Scares Me...
Mike L., posted this missive on ID scanning technology and privacy issues in October 1997. I immediately thought it should be kept for longer than the normal week or two most of the usual Survival Talk posts. A Canadian, Mike has obviously given this issue a lot of thought. Hopefully, this article will get you thinking, too.
